The Wayland Boosters is a
non-profit organization that provides support to the High School athletics
program. Our members organize the sports banquets held at the end of each
season to recognize our athletes.
We pay for and award the pins and jackets given to varsity
players and we also give three special Boosters awards to three
members of each team. We fund capital improvements such as new scoreboards to
the baseball and softball field as well as contributions to renovate the varsity
baseball field and "The Rock"(Bennett Field).
We raise funds through our annual membership campaign, by
selling Wayland sports clothing through the Boosters' Store(new price
list for 2008 coming soon), and running events such as
the Boosters annual golf tournament to be held October 10th, 2008 at
Wayland Country Club.
We hope you'll take a
look at our program and consider becoming a Booster. Check us out by
